Media files SupportedPFCPro can process a very long list of file types, in fact it would fill this page. To say it simply, if you can play the media file in the Windows Media Player on your PC then PFCPro can process it for use in PowerPoint! PFCPro Media Editing FeaturesPFCPro provides all the standard editing features found in much larger
and more expensive applications. With it you may: Automatic Codec selection and InstallationIf you are missing a standard codec PFCPro will automatically download it from the Microsoft web site and install it all without your needing to do a thing. It will even process non-standard file types (Example: DivX) if you manually install the needed codecs. (See the tutorial page on doing this.) Play DVDs the way you WantWith PFCPro you can now insert a commercial (copy protected) DVD and play it directly in PowerPoint. PFCPro plays the DVD in full resolution at whatever size you make it on the slide or in full screen mode. Using its "mark in" and "mark out" features you determine the exact "clip" you want to show and place it on your slide. You may place a clip on as many slides as you like. But that is not all! You may also use any special features from the DVD such as an alternative languages, closed captioning, directors comments, etc. If its on the DVD, you can now display it in PowerPoint exactly as you want! All you need is a DVD drive in your PC and the DVD you wish to play. NOTE: The DVD MUST be in the drive, no media is saved to your hard drive. Use Video-In SourcesIf you have video-in devices like a web cam, video capture card, TV tuner, FireWire DV, or other video device you can now insert them directly in your presentation. This is a great way to show VHS tapes in your presentation, simply connect it to your video in device on your PC and let PFCPro do the rest! Play Streaming Media from the Internet (Windows - Google -YouTube)Being able to play a video from the internet or an intranet has some unique advantages to both keeping your presentation size smaller and providing security for the video. As an example lets say you want to send out (distribute) a presentation to your customers but do not want them copying your video or using it for other purposes. Simply place the video on a server and stream it to the link in your presentation. This way the end user never has a local copy on their PC. Another advantage is that you can update the video on the server (while keeping the same name and URL) and when your customer views the presentation they see the latest version of your video. Of course it does not have to be your server. With PFCPro you may link to video content on the internet such as a Windows, Google, or YouTube video and play them directly in your presentation without converting them or losing quality that comes from converting them.
