NEW FEATURES:  The new navigation panel for DVD lets you Pause, Play, Fast-forward, Fast Reverse. And the best part is FULL VOLUME CONTROL over the
DVD playback. The navigation bar will appear with mouse over , and then disappear when you move the mouse to an other area of the slide show.

With the NEW PFCPro DVD function you can add EXIT ANIMATIONS to the DVD just as you would any picture on a slide. Slide animations will now work while
and after the DVD is playing allowing other things to go on in the slide show while the DVD is playing. The new NAVIGATION BAR lets you control the DVD playback with ease.

NO MORE BLACK BOX: While your DVD is not playing, PFCPro takes a snap shot of the DVD and displays that picture instead of the ugly black box.

TIME OF PLAYBACK: Then new navigation bar in PFCPro-DVD lets you see how much time you have till the DVD video is finished playing.

FULL SCREEN:  Simply double click the DVD Player and you now have FULL SCREEN DVD playback. When the DVD is Finished it will return to size you set and animations in the slide show will continue seamlessly.

MENU:
With PowerPoint 2007, Microsoft changed how menus work by introducing the new Office Ribbon.  What you may not know is they made it possible to access the ribbon from program code and allowed programmers to modify it and add their own icons and link them to add-ins.  The result is that we can place our add-ins directly into the ribbon so that you don't have to spend time looking for the add-in or its features which makes you more productive. We placed PFCPro 2007 directly into the "Insert" ribbon right beside Microsoft's own Insert media icon.

PFCPro takes full advantage of the PowerPoint task panes.More than just the ribbon, Microsoft also provided the ability to build custom task panes in PowerPoint 2007.  PFCPro 2007 takes advantage of this and all features and functions are now integrated into task panes so that you may move, dock, and resize them as you would any standard task pane in PowerPoint.  Again the goal is to provide better productivity and allow you to use the add-in in a way that meets your needs.

MEDIA FROM FILE:
Inserting a media file in PowerPoint has just been taken to a whole new level.  When you insert a media file in your presentation with PFCPro 2007 you are assured that it will play just as you want on both your PC and any other Windows PCs without the concern of what codecs are installed on the receiving PC.

To explain it simply, we combine Microsoft technologies with our custom programming to process the media into a format compatible with PowerPoint on Windows PCs.  As an added bonus typical file formats like Mpeg and AVI files will be significantly reduced in file size!  (Mpeg files and AVI files are typically 1/5 their original size without a loss of quality.)

Using PFCPro 2007 to process a video or audio file and automatically inserting it into your presentation is as simple as selecting the file, testing it, setting your animation from a pre-defined list and clicking finish.  When you distribute your presentation to other PCs they do NOT need to have PFCPro installed.  The presentation will play correctly on almost any Widows PC with PowerPoint or the PowerPoint viewer installed.

As an added benefit, we incorporated PFCExpress into PFCPro for your convenience!  It too is accomplished by using a task pane.

Media files Supported

PFCPro can process a very long list of file types, in fact it would fill this page.  To say it simply, if you can play the media file in the Windows Media Player on your PC then PFCPro can process it for use in PowerPoint!

PFCPro Media Editing Features

PFCPro provides all the standard editing features found in much larger and more expensive applications.  With it you may:

● Crop the video image.
● Edit the duration of the media by trimming either the beginning and ending point or both.
● Resize the video to meet your presentations needs.
● Edit or add metadata to the file.
● Rename the file as needed.
● Set the animations you want to use all from a single mouse click.
● Set the quality level desired to save file space.

Automatic Codec selection and Installation

If you are missing a standard codec PFCPro will automatically download it from the Microsoft web site and install it all without your needing to do a thing.  It will even process non-standard file types (Example: DivX) if you manually install the needed codecs.  (See the tutorial page on doing this.)

Play DVDs the way you Want

With PFCPro you can now insert a commercial (copy protected) DVD and play it directly in PowerPoint.  PFCPro plays the DVD in full resolution at whatever size you make it on the slide or in full screen mode.  Using its "mark in" and "mark out" features you determine the exact "clip" you want to show and place it on your slide.  You may place a clip on as many slides as you like.  But that is not all!  You may also use any special features from the DVD such as an alternative languages, closed captioning, directors comments, etc.  If its on the DVD, you can now display it in PowerPoint exactly as you want!  All you need is a DVD drive in your PC and the DVD you wish to play.  NOTE:  The DVD MUST be in the drive, no media is saved to your hard drive.

Use Video-In Sources

If you have video-in devices like a web cam, video capture card, TV tuner, FireWire DV, or other video device you can now insert them directly in your presentation.  This is a great way to show VHS tapes in your presentation, simply connect it to your video in device on your PC and let PFCPro do the rest!

Play Streaming Media from the Internet (Windows - Google - YouTube)

Being able to play a video from the internet or an intranet has some unique advantages to both keeping your presentation size smaller and providing security for the video.  As an example lets say you want to send out (distribute) a presentation to your customers but do not want them copying your video or using it for other purposes.  Simply place the video on a server and stream it to the link in your presentation.  This way the end user never has a local copy on their PC.  Another advantage is that you can update the video on the server (while keeping the same name and URL) and when your customer views the presentation they see the latest version of your video.

Of course it does not have to be your server.  With PFCPro you may link to video content on the internet such as a Windows, Google, or YouTube video and play them directly in your presentation without converting them or losing quality that comes from converting them.
