Presenter view for PowerPoint 2007-2010 is very limited and forces the presenter to present their information in a linear fashion and can not re-trigger object animations or allow the presenter to select and trigger animations outside of the timeline. Very often it forces the presenter to show the mouse (and clicks) on the presentation monitor in front of the audience.  It provides almost no interactivity or feedback between the audience and the presenter.
