Problem:

Some media files (video or audio) play on my PC but do not play in PowerPoint or, media files play in my presentation on my PC but fail when I distribute the presentation to other PCs.

Solution:

PFCMedia is our low cost offering to over come these problems. It accepts the media you select and processes it by creating a new copy of the media in a PowerPoint friendly format that will play on any Windows PC and version of PowerPoint. The newly created file is stored in the same directory as is the presentation thereby eliminating most of the problems associated with linking and as an added benefit the new file size is typically 1/2 to 1/3 the original size. If you move the presentation or distribute it, simply include everything in the presentation folder.

Do other PCs require the ad-in?

The answer is no. Once PFCMedia processes the media and inserts it in the presentation the media behaves just like any media file in PowerPoint.
