General F.A.Q. for our Products

How do I buy and register the products?

Both PFCMedia and PFCPro must be installed on your PC before you may purchase them.  You will find a "Registration" entry in the menu for each product.  Please select the "On Line" option to purchase via credit card.  Fill out the information form as indicated on screen and then finish when the form is complete.  Once the transaction is complete you will be emailed a receipt from your credit card company/bank.  Please retain this receipt for future inquiries.

The information you provide is encrypted before being sent over the internet.  After processing your credit card information we destroy it,  We do NOT retain any credit card information.  We do however retain your name, email address, and a copy of your receipt. For special purchases (multi-seat, educational, etc.) you may use the "manual registration request".  However, before doing so please contact us.  All manual registrations must be pre-approved in advance.

What Credit Cards do you accept?

Currently, we accept both Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards.  We do not accept American Express due to their extremely high processing fees and trying to keep your costs down.

What is the cost of the products?

PFCMedia cost is $49.95 USD.  (After the trial expires)

PFCPro cost is $129.95 USD.  (After the trial expires)

Upgrade from PFCMedia to PFCPro cost is $69.00 USD.

Special pricing is available on multi-seat installations.  Please contact us in advance with some idea on how many copies are needed.

All other Plays For Certain products are completely FREE to all users.

How do I remove the product from my PC?

All of our products may be removed via the "Add/Remove Programs" wizard in your Windows "Control Panel".

I receive an error during the installation, what's wrong?

First, make certain that PowerPoint is NOT running.  The products can not install if PowerPoint is running!  Installing our products requires that you have administrator rights on the PC.  If you do not have these rights please contact your IT administrator for assistance.  For all other errors please contact us directly for assistance.

Everything installed, why is there no entry in the Start Menu?

Our products are add-ins to PowerPoint and using them is done from the PowerPoint menu.  In other words you must start PowerPoint to use the products.  Depending on which product you are using and your version of PowerPoint the menu entries are different.  Please see the products description page for full details.

What is the difference between PFCMedia and PFCPro?

The major difference is that PFCPro provides video and audio editing capabilities directly from within PowerPoint while PFCMedia simply processes the video or audio file "as is" when it inserts them in your presentation.  PFCPro also allows you to select a specific "clip" from a DVD for use in the presentation and to use a wider variety of media "sources" or video input.  See the comparison chart.

How do I get technical support for your products?

First, read the "Help" file, we put a lot of work in writing it and almost all technical issues are addressed in it.  If you are unable to find your answer there please feel free to contact us via email.  A special note here, if you contact us about an issue that is explained in your help file our tech support people will refer you to it instead of re-writing it in an email.  :-)
